) The amount of ol to be fed to the thread take-up
lever and needle bar crank secton 2 by turnng ol
amount adjustng pn 1 .
2) The ol amount s mnmzed by turnng the adjust-
ng pn n drecton A untl marker dot B engraved
on the pn moves from the poston n the fgure
reaches near needle bar crank 2 .
3) The ol amount s maxmzed by turnng the adjust-
ng pn n drecton C from the position in the figure
to the poston opposte to the needle bar crank.
after the oil amount is adjusted using
oil amount adjust pin 1 . run the sewing
machine idle for apporoximately 30 sec-
onds and confirm the oil amount (trace
of oil).
(1) Sample of the correct oil amount (trace of

il)
) Place a sheet of ol amount (trace of ol) checkng
paper n poston D in the figure on the upper right,
and check the amount of ol.
at this time, be sure not to allow the oil
amount checking paper to come in con-
tact with the moving parts.
2) Check the amount of ol (trace of ol) three tme n
repetton to be sure that the amount ol does not
change.
3) Check the amount of ol (trace of ol) for 0 sec-
onds.
(Check the tme wth your watch.)
