Precautons to be taken when handlng USB devces

Do not leave the USB devce or USB cable connected to the USB port whle the sewng machne s n opera-
ton. The machne vbraton can damage the port secton resultng n loss of data stored on the USB devce or
breakage of the USB devce or sewng machne.
Do not nsert/remove a USB devce durng readng/wrtng a program or sewng data.
It may cause data breakage or malfuncton.
When the storage space of a USB devce s parttoned, only one partton s accessble.
Some type of the USB devce may not be properly recognzed by ths sewng machne.
JUKI does not compensate for loss of data stored on the USB devce caused by usng t wth ths sewng ma-
chne.
When the panel dsplays the communcaton screen or pattern data lst, the USB drve s not recognzed even
f you nsert a medum nto the slot.
For USB devces and meda such as CF cards, only one devce/medum should be bascally connected/n-
serted to/nto the sewng machne. When two or more devces/meda are connected/nserted, the machne wll
only recognize one of them. Refer to the USB specifications.
