43.3 USB Storage

The ZyWALL can use a connected USB device to store the system log and other
diagnostic information. Use this screen to turn on this feature and set a disk full
warning limit.
Note: Only connect one USB device. It must allow writing (it cannot be read-only) and
use the FAT16, FAT32, EXT2, or EXT3 file system. The ZyWALL uses the
partition identified as "sda1".
Click Configuration > System > USB Storage to open the screen as shown
next.

43.4 Date and Time

For effective scheduling and logging, the ZyWALL system time must be accurate.
The ZyWALL's Real Time Chip (RTC) keeps track of the time and date. There is also

DESCRIPTION
Select this if you want to use the connected USB device(s).
Set a number and select a unit (MB or %) to have the ZyWALL send a
warning message when the remaining USB storage space is less than the
value you set here.
Click Apply to save your changes back to the ZyWALL.
Click Reset to return the screen to its last-saved settings.
