Caution
(1) Do not drop or apply an impact.
Otherwise, components inside the product may be damaged, resulting in malfunction of the product.
(2) Observe the tightening torque for mounting.
If tightened at a torque higher than the specified torque range (0.15 to 0.25 N·m), the cylinder/actuator body,
mounting screws, mounting brackets, and product body, etc. may be damaged.
If tightened at a torque below the specified tightening torque range, the mounting position of the analogue ASW may
be misaligned.
(3) Do not carry the cylinder/actuator or lift the product by holding the lead wire of the analogue ASW or the
display.
Doing so may cause the lead wire or internal elements to be damaged.
(4) Do not use screws other than the set screws installed in the analogue ASW to fix it.
Using screws that are not specified may cause the product or the cylinder/actuator to be damaged.
(5) Adjust the mounting position of the analogue ASW after checking the actual operating conditions.
A full stroke may not be detected even with a cylinder/actuator for which a full stroke is detectable depending on the
setting environment. In addition, the resolution may be deteriorated.
(6) If using a commercially available switching power supply, be sure to ground the frame ground (FG)
terminal.
Caution
(1) Check the insulation of the wiring.
Any insulation failure on the wiring (short circuits, faulty ground connections, improper insulation between terminals,
etc.) may damage the product due to an over current.
(2) Do not use parallel wiring with the power lines or high voltage lines and use a separate wiring route.
Otherwise, the product may malfunction due to noise because of inrush current.
(3) Make sure that the lead wire is not bent repeatedly and a tensile force is not applied to the lead wire.
Broken lead wires will result if repeated bending stresses or tensile forces are applied to the lead wires.
Stress and tensile forces applied to the connection between the lead wire and the position sensor increases the
possibility of disconnection.
Secure the lead wire to reduce any movement in the area where the lead wire connects with the position sensor.
(4) Be sure to shut off the power supply before performing wiring.
If performing wiring when energized, there is a risk of electric shock, malfunction, or damage to the product.
(5) Do not short-circuit loads.
Otherwise, there is a risk of damage to the product.
(6) Prevent mis wiring.
The product may malfunction or be damaged depending on the mis wiring condition.
(7) Make wiring as short as possible to prevent noise and surges from entering the product.
Use a wiring length of less than 30 m.
Also, wire the DC (-), line (blue) as close as possible to the power supply.
