Close the ribbon cover until it "snaps" into place.
Raise the media damper (top).

Lower the top cover gently, press on the front of the top cover with both hands until it "snaps"

into place to make sure that it is closed securely.
Press the [FEED] button once.

If any print wrinkles occur, press [FEED] button a few more times.
Perform [<7>RIBBON CORE I.D].
