Open circuit
• If there is no continuity, the circuit is open. Repair or replace the harness.
- Fuel pump unit terminal A and fuel pump relay terminal D
- Fuel pump unit terminal E and body GND
Short circuit
• If there is continuity, the circuit is short. Repair or replace the harness.
- Fuel pump unit terminal A and body GND
- Fuel pump unit terminal E and power supply

Fuel Static Pressure Inspection

Note
• The fuel static pressure inspection cannot be performed because the pressure regulator is
integrated with the fuel pump unit.
QUICK RELEASE CONNECTOR
Warning
• Fuel is very flammable liquid. If fuel spills or leaks from the pressurized fuel system, it will cause
serious injury or death and facility breakage. Fuel can also irritate skin and eyes. To prevent this,
always complete the "Fuel Line Safety Procedure", while referring to the "BEFORE SERVICE
PRECAUTION".

Quick Release Connector Type

Caution
• There are four types of quick release connectors. Verify the type and location, and
install/remove properly.
