ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF]

Warning
• Fuel vapor is hazardous. It can very easily ignite, causing serious injury and damage. Always
keep sparks and flames away from fuel.
• Fuel line spills and leakage are dangerous. Fuel can ignite and cause serious injuries or death
and damage. Fuel can also irritate skin and eyes. To prevent this, always complete the "Fuel Line
Safety Procedure". (See

3. Remove the battery cover, battery duct, battery clamp, battery and battery tray (See

(1) Accelerator cable and bracket.
(2) Front wheels and tires (See
(3) Under cover and splash shields.
(4) A/C drive belt (See
(5) A/C compressor with the pipes still connected.

• Secure the A/C compressor using wire or rope so that it is out of the way.
