• Remove the intake air system parts.
(See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
• Disconnect the fuel injector connector on
suspected cylinder.
• Connect noid light to the fuel injector
connector terminals.
• Inspect dim of light during cranking.
• Does noid light illuminate?
INSPECT SEALING OF ENGINE
COOLANT PASSAGE
• Perform the "ENGINE COOLANT
LEAKAGE INSPECTION".

• Is there any malfunction?
INSPECT ENGINE COMPRESSION
• Inspect the engine compression.

• Is the engine compression normal?
INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR OPERATION
• Remove the fuel injector from suspected
cylinder.

• Switch injector with injector on other
cylinder.
• Start the engine and run it at idle.
• Is misfire DTC for cylinder which has a
suspected fuel injector?
VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC
P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304
COMPLETED
• Make sure to reconnect all disconnected
connectors.

• Clear the DTC from the PCM memory
using the WDS or equivalent.
• Perform the "PCM Adaptive Memory
Produce Drive Mode".

Repair or replace it if necessary, then go to

Repair or replace malfunctioning part
according to inspection result.
