INSPECTION [LF].)
• Is IAC valve normal?
INSPECT CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT
TO POWER
• Turn the ignition switch to the ON position
(Engine off).
• Measure voltage between following terminal

(wiring harness-side) and body ground:
- IAC valve terminal A
- IAC valve terminal B
• Is the voltage B+?
INSPECT CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT
TO GROUND
• Turn the ignition switch off.
• Inspect for continuity between following
terminals (wiring harness-side) and body

ground:
- IAC valve terminal A
- IAC valve terminal B
• Is there continuity?
INSPECT POOR CONNECTION OF PCM
CONNECTOR
• Turn the ignition switch off.
• Disconnect the PCM connector.

• Inspect for poor connection (such as
damaged/pulled-out pins, corrosion).
• Is there any malfunction?
INSPECT CONTROL CIRCUIT
MALFUNCTION FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
• Inspect for continuity following terminals
(wiring harness-side):
8 - Between IAC valve terminal A and
PCM terminal 2E
- Between IAC valve terminal B and
PCM terminal 2F
• Is there continuity?
VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC
