2.5" SSD Drive / Drive Blank Removal

The 2.5" drive mounting rails in the system are not removable. They slide out so that the storage drives can
be installed or removed. When sliding out a drive mounting rail from the system, only pull it as much as it
allows without forcing it.
1. Press the button on the drive extraction lever to release it (see Letter A).
2. Using the lever, pull the drive mounting rail halfway out of the drive bay (see Letter B).
3. Remove the drive (or drive blank) from the drive mounting rail (see Letter C).

3.5" HDD Drive Assembly

1. Hold the carrier assembly top side down in your right hand.
2. Using your left hand, gently rotate the bottom edge of the left rail upwards (see Letter A) while at the
same time pushing the drive or drive blank down away from the carrier (see Letter B).
