Intel® Server System M50CYP2UR Family System Integration and Service Guide
1. Detach the power cord from the power supply to be removed.
2. Push and hold the green latch in the direction shown (see Letter A).
3. Use the handle to pull the power supply module from the system (see Letter B).
4. If present, remove the insert from the power supply bay (see Letter A).
5. Slide the power supply into the power supply bay until it clicks and locks in place (see Letter B).

Existing processor heat sink + new thermal interface material (TIM)

Anti-static wrist strap and conductive workbench pad (recommended)

ESD Gloves (recommended)
•
T-30 Torx* screwdriver
