2.6.4 GDC 74(X) Field Calibration Utility
Use the GDC 74(X) Field Calibration Tool (T06-A0156-00) to adjust the calibration of GDC 74(X) units that
have failed the 14 CFR Part 43 Appendix E tests due to altitude drift.
Both the GDC 74(X) Field Calibration Tool (software) and the GDC 74(X) Field Calibration Instructions (190-
00303-82) can be downloaded from the Dealer Resource portion of the Garmin website at www.garmin.com.
First download the GDC 74(X) Field Calibration Instructions document, then use the steps listed in that document
to download and run the GDC 74(X) Field Calibration Tool.
