Cause
TAWS system is currently
being tested.
TAWS system alerting is
disabled
GPS system integrity not
high enough to enable
TAWS
Communication with the
traffic device has failed
Main (M) or Essential (E)
Bus voltage has exceeded
32 volts.
Unsafe carbon monoxide
level reported by CO
Guardian unit.
The PFD supply voltage is
low.
The MFD supply voltage is
low.
The G1000 has determined
the CO Guardian needs
service.
The G1000 and CO
Guardian are not
communicating.
Solutions
operating correctly.
Check GIA2-Traffic device wiring
and connectors for faults.
If using TIS from the GTX33, check
for any other GTX config
error messages and correct.
Replace GTX33
N/A – Test will be conducted up to two
minutes
Enable TAWS system alerting by
pressing the MENU button from the
MAP – TAWS page.
Ensure valid GPS position is received
from the AUX – GPS STATUS page
If a non-Garmin Traffic device is
installed, refer to the manufacturer's
maintenance manual to determine if it
is operating correctly
Check GIA2-Traffic device wiring and
connectors for faults
If using TIS from the GTX33 - check for
any other GTX config error messages
and correct
Replace GTX33
