B.1.5.6 GTX 33 Transponder Software (GDU software version 6.01 and earlier)
If the PFD shows that an upload has stopped before reaching 100%, the G1000 will allow the
installer to restart the upload procedure multiple times until a successful upload is accomplished.
In some instances multiple software upload attempts may be required.
1. Highlight the file GTX33 file. Ensure that both paths to the GTX 33 through GIA1 and GIA 2 appear in
the LRU field as shown:
2. Press the LRU softkey. Select the GTX1 - GIA1 data path to load software. Press the LOAD softkey.
3. Select YES and press the ENT key to acknowledge the following prompt:
4. The software for the GTX 33 transponder begins to load. Monitor the upload status as it progresses:
5. After the files finish loading, press the ENT key to acknowledge the following prompt:
6. Check the SUMMARY field to ensure the load is 'COMPLETE'.
