Managing Signaling
Protocol Parameters
The Call Control also keeps a database of all the existing calls and
connections per ATM address and interface port. This database may be
viewed through management tools. Based on this database, the
CoreBuilder 9000 ATM Enterprise Switch can handle error conditions,
notify the users on link down situations and manage to recover from
clearing connections.
Management can display and update the following signaling protocol
parameters. Except where designated, these parameters are per port.


UNI (Q93B) signaling timers for all ports


UNI (Q93B) signaling protocol VPI/VCI configuration parameters


QSAAL signaling protocol timer values


SSCOP configuration parameters


Signaling protocol profile


Signaling protocol version


Call-proceeding message enable flag
