Connection Type
You can set the network connection type for a specified port or a group
of ports. To do this, you can use either the LMA or the integrated fast
setup. If you want to use the fast setup, see the CoreBuilder 9000 ATM
Interface Module Getting Started Guide. You can set the interface type to
NNI, UNI, or GWY.
You can configure the port network connection type.


Display Network Connection Type

Reset All Except IP Addresses
Display the network connection type for each port of the
CoreBuilder 9000 ATM Enterprise Switch. The network connection type
may be Gateway (GWY), User to Network Interface (UNI), or Network to
Network Interface (NNI). When the port is connected to another ATM
Switch, the interface should be set to NNI. If it is connected to an edge
device such as an Ethernet to ATM device, or ATM attached server, the
interface type should be set to UNI.
