Downloading the
Software Files
1 Enter the LMA command 1 3 3 at the main menu prompt.
2 At the prompt, enter 1.
3 Reboot the switch by entering the LMA command 1 7.
4 Answer y to the prompt.
5 Open the Windows Explorer.
6 Double-click on the down_all.bat icon on the CD. All the software files

Before you begin the download procedure, log into the CoreBuilder 9000
Enterprise ATM Switch Local Management Access (LMA) .
To use the RS-232 download, the switch must be put in a special state, in
which the operational software does not take control. To put the switch
into the special state, follow the steps described below:

to the switch (via the RS-232 port) or from the Telnet session to the
switch.

This is normal behavior that indicates that communication with the
switch has failed. This is expected as the switch was rebooted.
After you successfully upgrade the Switch Fabric Module software, you
should also upgrade the standby Switch Fabric Module software.
To upgrade the standby Switch Fabric Module software:
