Purpose Used to create a new syslog host.
Syntax config syslog host [all|<index 1-4>]
{severity [informational|warning|all]|
facility[local0|local1|local2|local3|
local4|local5|local6|local7]|udp_port<int>
| ipaddress <ipaddr>| state[enable|disable]
Description The create syslog host command is used to
create a new syslog host.
all − Specifies that the command will be

applied to all hosts.
<index 1-4> − Specifies that the command will
be applied to an index of hosts. There are four
available indexes, numbered 1 through 4.
severity − Severity level indicator. These are
described in the following:
Bold font indicates that the corresponding
severity level is currently supported on the
switch.
