Purpose Used to clear the switch's history log.
clear log
Syntax
Description This command will clear the switch's
history log.
Parameters none.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue
this command.
Example Usage:
To clear the log information:
DES-3226L:4#clear log
Command: clear log
Success.

show log
Purpose Used to display the switch history log.
show log {index <value>}
Syntax
Description This command will display the contents of
the switch's history log.
Parameters index <value> − The show log command
will display the history log until the log
