FUSED ENGINE CONTROL RELAY OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage of the O2 Heater Fused Engine Control Relay
Output circuit at the O2 Sensor harness connector.
Is the voltage above 10 volts?
Yes >> Go To 6
No >> Repair the O2 Heater Fused Engine Control Relay Output
circuit for an open.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - VER 2.

O2 HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the PCM harness connectors.
Note: Check connectors — Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance of the O2 Heater Control circuit from the O2
Sensor harness connector to the PCM harness connector.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes >> Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module.
(Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL
MODULES/POWERTRAIN
REMOVAL).
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - VER 2.
No >> Repair the O2 Heater Control circuit for an open.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - VER 2.
