The following connectors are located on the WS4 or WS4 LX IO Panel.

RS422-A (COM4) and RS422-B (COM5)

On the Workstation 4 and the Workstation 4 LX, two RS422 or RS232 configurations
are supported. All modes are configured by the POS application and detailed in the
following pages.

IDN(+)

The IDN(+) mode is the most popular configuration, used to drive IDN printers. This
configuration is available on both the WS4 and WS4 LX System Boards and is shown
in Figure A-1, below.
