Remove and Replace the WS4 and WS4 LX FRUs
Removing the Top Cover
6. Remove the remaining cables between the top cover and the base. If a Samsung
LCD is installed, refer to refer to Figure 6-3. If a Sharp LCD is installed, refer to
Figure 6-4.
• Use a flat blade screw driver to release the MSR cable connector from the
system board connector.
• Remove the backlight cable from the backlight inverter board.
• Remove the touchscreen cable from the touchscreen extension cable.
• Remove the Customer Display cable from the Rear LCD Customer Display
cable if this option is installed.
• Remove the LVDS cable from the LVDS board on the Samsung LCD or
directly from the Sharp LCD panel.
