6. When you have completed the configuration, click
you click this button. A verification dialog appears. Click OK. An orange banner appears at the top of the
screen (Figure 31), and then the screen changes to the Monitoring tab.
Always allow the software to transition to the Monitoring tab. Do not click the tab as it may
interrupt the process.
The banner disappears after 30 seconds, which is usually enough time for the new configuration to be written.
However, in some cases it may take longer than 30 seconds for the status and other details to change. In
other words, the fact that the banner clears does not indicate that the Ava 500 has successfully associated
with the network, merely that the timed interval has completed.
When the Ava 500 has successfully associated, the Status of Wireless Connection changes to say
'UPLINK_ESTABLISHED', the Connection Details includes 'Associated', and an IP address is assigned.

7. Click the blue Home link in the title bar to return to the Ava 500 Configuration interface main menu.
