d) Remove the two pieces of insulation
from the top of the waveguide.

e) Remove the four mounting screws
from the magnetron and lift it off the
waveguide.

7. To reinstall the magnetron on the
waveguide, use the cross-tightening
method to tighten the four screws, as fol-
lows:
a) Loosely install screw #1.
b) Loosely install screw #2 in an alternate
(across the transformer) mounting
hole.

c) Repeat steps a and b for screws #3 and
#4 so that all four screws are loosely
installed.
d) Alternately tighten screws #1 through
#4 until they are snug. The base of the
magnetron should be perfectly paral-
lel with the waveguide to operate prop-
erly.

To remove the magnetron thermal cut-
out:
a) Disconnect the wires (BK-130 & BK131)
from the terminals.
b) Remove the two screws.
