Terminology

Active cooling mode (active cooling)
Active cooling mode, see "Cooling functions".
System version
The system version describes the components of your
heating system, e.g. heat pump, heating circuit pump,
mixer, valves, control unit, heating element, etc.
Operating program
With the operating program you determine a range of
factors, including how to heat/cool your rooms,
whether you heat DHW, and which ventilation stage
your domestic ventilation system runs on.
Operating status
See "Time program".
Own consumption of power from a photovoltaic system
The power generated by the photovoltaic system can
be used to help cover the on-site demand.
One or more energy consumers can be connected to
the PV system (e.g. heat pump or washing machine).
For this purpose, an electricity meter is connected to
the heat pump control unit.
This provides the heat pump control unit with informa-
tion on whether, and how much, power is available
from the photovoltaic system.
You can select which components of your heating sys-
tem should use this power.

(cont.)
Every heating system is adapted to the local circum-
stances by your heating contractor and set up individu-
ally.
Example: DHW heating ("DHW cylinder heating")
In the time program you have determined at what
times (during which time phases) DHW will be
required.
The heat pump control unit checks whether it is possi-
ble to heat the DHW cylinder with power from the pho-
tovoltaic system during these times phases.
If it is not possible, then heating the DHW cylinder will
be automatically transferred to a period where power
from the photovoltaic system is available.
