Heating system inspection and maintenance
Potable water filter (if installed)
To maintain high hygienic standards, proceed as fol-
lows:
Replace filter element on non-back flushing filters
■
every six months (visual inspection every
two months).
On back flushing filters, back flush every
■
two months.
Damaged connecting cables
If connecting cables of the appliance or externally
installed accessories are damaged, replace them with
special connecting cables. Replace only with
Viessmann cables. Notify your heating contractor
accordingly.
Cleaning the domestic ventilation system
The casing of the ventilation unit may be cleaned with
a commercially available domestic cleaning agent
(non-scouring).
Regularly change the outdoor air and extract air filters.
We recommend a regular change at least annually or
as required.
Never operate this appliance without filters.
We recommend that the ventilation unit and the air
ducts are serviced and, if necessary, cleaned regularly
(annually) by your local contractor.

(cont.)
We recommend entering into a maintenance contract
with a heating contractor.
Failure to carry out maintenance represents a risk fac-
tor. Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure that the
operation of the device remains hygienic, environmen-
tally sound and energy efficient.
2. Heavy contamination:
Undo the supply/extract air valves (bayonet fitting),
clean with a damp cloth and refit.
