Calling up messages
1. Pressing OK provides you with additional informa-
tion regarding the displayed message.

2. You can scroll through the list of messages. The
header of each message shows whether it is a note,
warning or fault message.
Pressing ? provides you with the following informa-
tion regarding the selected message:
Date and time when the message occurred for the

first time.
Notes about the characteristics of the heat pump
■
and heating system.
Tips on which steps you can take yourself before
■
notifying your heating contractor.
3. In the case of warning or fault messages ( ,
note the text of the message and the adjacent mes-
sage code. In this example: "Fault" "Outside temp.
sensor 18".
This enables the heating contractor to be better pre-
pared and may save you unnecessary travelling
costs.
In the case of information messages (
your heating contractor will not be necessary. In this
example: "Note" "Power-OFF C5" (see page 47).
4. Acknowledge all messages by following the instruc-
tions in the menu.
The message will be adopted into the "Fault",
"Warning" or "Note" menu.

Note
If you have connected signalling equipment for fault

messages (e.g. a buzzer), this will be deactivated
when the fault message is acknowledged.
If the fault can only be rectified at a later date, the
■
fault message is displayed again the next day at
7:00 h and the signalling equipment (if installed) is
switched on again.
If you acknowledge fault message "Heat pump A9",
■
both heating and DHW heating are provided entirely
by the electric booster heater (e.g. instantaneous
heating water heater, if installed). As this is associ-
ated with high electricity costs, we recommend hav-
ing the heat pump checked by your local heating
contractor immediately.
