Attaching the USB Host Interface Board Type A

Important
❒ When connecting a digital camera to the printer via USB, the USB port of the
USB host interface board is required.
❒ Before handling the USB host interface board, ground yourself by touching

something metal to discharge any static electricity. Static electricity can dam-
age the USB host interface board.
❒ Do not subject the USB host interface board to physical shocks.

Check the contents of the box.

Turn off the power, and then unplug the power cable.

Loosen the two screws and remove the cover of the USB host interface
board installation unit.
The removed cover is not used when installing the interface unit.
