This section describes the size and thickness limitations that apply to originals placed on the exposure
glass or the ADF.

This section explains the size of the area the machine can scan.
• There may be a difference in the size of the image when it is printed at the destination.
• Even if an original is correctly placed on the exposure glass or in the ADF, a margin of 3 mm (0.1
inches) around each edge of the original may not be sent.
