Cleaning the Transfer Belt of the ITB Unit

If the print quality deteriorates due to the transfer belt of the ITB unit being touched,
clean the transfer belt of the ITB unit using the following procedure.

Cleaning the Transfer Belt of the ITB Unit

Press [Online].
The Online indicator goes off, allowing you to specify the settings on the control
panel.
Press [Settings].
SETUP
CONTROL MENU
Select USER MAIN. using [
USER MAIN.
ADJ.START POS. →
The options for USER MAIN. are displayed.
Select CLEANING using [
CLEANING
OK?
A confirmation message is displayed.
The message <01 CLEANING> is displayed, and the printer starts cleaning the
transfer belt of the ITB unit.
NOTE
Cleaning takes approximately 180 seconds.

The cleaning process cannot be canceled. Please wait until it is completed.
