Adjusting brightness of the illumination

Adjust brightness of the illumination as described below.
1 Press ([+]/[-]) of the light control button
( ) to adjust brightness.
When you press the light control button,
the [Light value] menu is displayed. In this
menu, the current brightness level (ten
levels) is displayed. Adjust the light while
checking the brightness of the live image.
 1 to 10 (ten levels)
If the light control button is pressed and
held for more than one second, the
brightness is adjusted consecutively at a
0.2 sec. interval.
While the menu is displayed, if you press
the [OK] (or right) button or no operation is
performed for two seconds, the setting is
applied and the ordinary display is
restored.
About settings at the power-on time
The setting of brightness is saved when the power is turned off. The saved
brightness will be applied the next time the power is turned on.
