 Self-timer
In this mode, capturing starts two
seconds after the capture switch is
pressed.
When the capture switch is pressed, the
counter starts counting down. When the
counter value is 0, capturing is
performed.
If this mode is selected, the timer icon
( ) is displayed in the LCD monitor.
 Interval shooting
In this mode, single-shot shooting is
performed at regular intervals. The
number of images to be captured and
the interval are specified before the
shooting. This mode is useful in a case

such as when the time-dependent
change in the specimen should be
recorded.
- Image Num.
Specify the number of images to be
captured. You can specify a number
from 2 to 999 (the maximum varies
depending on the amount of free
space left on the SD card).
- Interval
Specify the interval at which images
are to be captured. You can select
10s, 15s, 20s, 30s, 45s, 60s, 90s,
2m, 3m, 4m, 5m, 6m, 10m, 15m,
20m, 30m, 45m, 60m, 90m, 2h, 3h,
4h, 5h, or 6h (s: seconds, m:
minutes, h: hours) (initial setting:
10s)
When the capture switch is pressed, interval shooting starts. The interval
shooting icon (
interval and the number of images.
During interval shooting, only the power switch, capture switch, monitor
button, and playback buttons can be used. If any of these four buttons is
pressed during interval shooting, a message asking you whether the
shooting should be stopped appears.
