In Program AE mode, you can set the upper limit on the camera gain and the lower
limit on the shutter speed. The procedure is as follows.
1 In shooting mode, press the [MENU]
button to display the [Shooting menu]
screen.
2 Select [Prog. AE setting], and then
press the [OK] (or right) button.
The [Prog. AE setting] screen appears.

3 Select [Max. camera gain], and then
press the [OK] (or right) button.
The [Max. camera gain] screen appears.
4 Select the maximum camera gain value,
and then press the [OK] (or right) button
to apply the selection.
 Maximum camera gain (initial value:
2250)
100 to 2250 (10 levels)
The [Prog. AE setting] screen appears
again.
5 Select [Low shutter speed], and then
press the [OK] (or right) button.
The [Low shutter speed] screen appears.
6 Select the lower limit on the shutter
speed, and then press the [OK] (or
right) button to apply the selection.
 Lower limit on the shutter speed
(initial value: 1/60)
1/250 to 1 (17 levels)
The [Prog. AE setting] screen appears
again.
