Starting the refrigerator box

Hold down the switch marked "ON/OFF"
(1) for about 1 second. The green light
diode (2) lights up and the compressor
starts. The compressor will only start when
the battery voltage exceeds 24.2 Volts. If
the battery voltage is lower than this, the
green light diode (2) begins to flash. For

Adjust the temperature by holding down
the temperature selector marked "TEMP"
(3). The blue light diodes (4) light up one
after the other, and repeats this as long as
the temperature selector is held down.
Select the temperature by releasing the tem-
perature selector when the correct number
of light diodes is lit. The more blue diodes
that are lit, the lower the temperature in the
refrigerator box. The normal level is five lit

blue light diodes, which gives about -12 C

in the freezer compartment, and +4 C in
the refrigerator compartment at normal sur-
rounding temperature.

Switching off the refrigerator box

Hold down the switch marked "ON/OFF"
for about 1 second. The green light diode
goes out and the compressor stops. If the
refrigerator box is not going to be used for
a period of time, it should be cleaned thor-
oughly. See "Cleaning" page 3. After
cleaning, the lid should be held wide open
for at least 24 hours so that all the vapour
vanishes and no bad smells occur.
