Gear lever

When engaging a gear, move the gently to
the desired gear position.
Note! Do not press hard on the lever. The
gear will not be engaged any faster.
The engine must be running before a gear
can be engaged. The gear lever is used like
a manual gear lever except that there is no
clutch pedal. With the gear lever in position
"A" gear changing will take place automat-
ically. There is also a position "H", see
"Gear hold" page 8 for more information
about this position.
