In case of gearbox malfunction

The Geartronic system is equipped with a
limp-home function that makes it possible
to drive a short distance if there is a fault
in the gearbox or clutch position sensor.
Note! The limp-home function should only
be used for short distances.
The functions are activated by simultane-
ously pressing in button "E/P" and moving
the gear lever to position 1.
The following functions are affected:
•
automatic mode is not available
•
only low split is available
•
only low range is available
The following gears can be used:
•
reverse, low range/split (rLSLR)
•
1st gear, low split (1LS)
•
2nd gear, low split (2LS)
•
3rd gear, low split (3LS)
The limp-home function can be deactivated
when the ignition is turned off.
