Set the direction in which edges are searched and the change in density.

● Selecting the color of edges
Select the direction of density change for the edge to be detected.
MENU mode-[TEACH]-[CUSTM]-[EDGE MODE]
DARK
LIGHT (default)
● Selecting the edge detection direction
Select the direction in which edges are searched.
MENU mode-[TEACH]-[CUSTM]-[DIRECTION]

● Changing edge sensitivity
Change sensitivity when a stable edge cannot be located.

Dark areas shown in the filtered monochrome image are assumed to be
edges.
Light areas shown in the filtered monochrome image are assumed to be
edges.
Setting
Searches from bottom to top.
Searches from top to bottom.
Searches from left to right.
Searches from right to left.
Setting
Edge sensitivity is high.
Select this when contrast is low and a stable edge cannot be located.
Standard sensitivity.
Edge sensitivity is low.
Select this when something like dust is mistakenly detected as the edge.
