Troubleshooting - Causes - Remedy
Possible troubles that may occur in service are covered in this paragraph. For each trouble, possible causes and suggested remedy
is indicated.
TROUBLE
Oil leaks past the sealing ring
Oil leaks from fork leg bottom
Loss of feedback
Unsmooth movement of legs
Fork response unaffected by
changes to setting
Fork feels too soft

Fork feels too stiff

General maintenance

Check torque of nuts and bolts
Clean dust seals

Change oil
Change sealing rings
When the motorcycle is used on muddy or sandy terrain, shorten maintenance intervals by 30%.

1. Replace sealing ring
