3.3.4 Server Blade

The Server Blade option provides general information on the server blades, i. e. information on CPUs, memory
modules, voltage, temperature, CMOS configuration and watchdog timers.
The menu for this option looks like this:

3.3.4.1 Server Blade Control Information
This option enables the user to set the following parameters:

Description
Configures in detail the power-on/off sequences of the server blades.
Used for dual MMB systems, where one MMB firmware version differs from the
other. Manual: User has to do the matching by himself after mismatch has been
reported. Automatic: After notification of the mismatch the system has to do the
matching by starting a firmware flash.
Controls the cloning process of the firmware (in case of mismatch of firmware
versions master/slave). 0 = disabled (default).
Description
Set server power:
(1) on
(2) off
(3) power-cycle
(4) reset
(5) NMI
(6) force off
The boot modes init and inventory are supported by VIOM function. For
details, please refer to the VIOM spec.
Host name of the server blade. Is overwritten with the host name
assigned in the operating system when ServerView agents are used.
Configuration of the LED control at the front of the blade server: blinking
or off.
Indicates the status of the Server Memory Dump Flag (normal or off).
The user can set up a power on/off schedule for server blade.
