To capture AFD and/or closed caption data, in Avid's Capture tool, enable
all 16 audio channels, set audio channels 15 and 16 to Mono , and select 1:1
from the Res list.

4VANC capture in the Matrox Utilities preferences window as described in
"Matrox 4VANC capture and playback"
Capture as you would normally.

Adding a voice-over to your sequence

Matrox MXO2 supports the Audio Punch-In tool, which allows you to record
audio directly into the Timeline to add voice-over narration, such as to add
commentary to newsreels and documentaries.
¦ Note
The Audio Punch-In tool supports recording to mono tracks only.
Connection and setup
Connect the input device (microphone) to the audio input on a source device,

such as a preamplifier, and then connect the audio output from the source
device to the corresponding audio input on your MXO2 hardware.

The Matrox hardware audio inputs are line level. Therefore, make sure
your audio equipment output matches.
