Adding a voice-over to your sequence
Matrox MXO2 supports voice-over in Adobe Premiere Pro, which allows you to
record audio tracks as .wav files to add commentary to video clips, such as
newsreels and documentaries.

Connection and setup
Connect the microphone to the audio input on a source device, such as a

preamplifier, and then connect the audio output from the source device to the
corresponding audio input on your MXO2 hardware.

If you're using a Mac OS X Lion system, proceed to step 3. For Mac OS X

Mavericks or Mountain Lion users, a Matrox aggregate audio device is
required for your system. If you previously created a Matrox aggregate audio
device on your system for the purposes of voice-over, proceed to step 3. To
create a Matrox aggregate audio device, perform the following steps:

The Matrox hardware audio inputs are line level. Therefore, make sure
In the Mac OS X Finder window, choose Applications > Utilities , and
then double-click Audio MIDI Setup .
In the Audio Devices window, click
and then Create Aggregate Device .
Double-click the newly created aggregate device that appears in the left
pane, and type a descriptive name for the device, such as Matrox Audio .
