11.3 Drum Temperature Detection Circuit

The drum temperature detection circuit is composed as shown in the figure below. It converts the input
voltage from the drum thermistor into a digital signal by means of the A/D converter embedded in the
main CPU on the LGC board. The drum thermistor is an element whose resistance value is smaller
when the temperature is higher. Therefore, when the temperature becomes higher, the input voltage to
the main CPU becomes lower.
