8.4 WHEN MEDIA JAMS OCCUR

If the loaded media gets jammed in the printer, follow the steps below to remove the media.

8.4.1 How to remove a piece of media (sheet media)

Step 1 : Press [F4] to raise the pressure rollers.
Step 2 : The MEDIA SET lamp will switch ON (orange).

Step 3 : If a piece of media or media dust is stocked in the printer, open the front cover and remove the
piece of media or media dust.

E SURE NOT TO PINCH YOUR FINGERS WHILE OPENING AND CLOSING MEDIA COVER
Step 4 : If there is an error requiring a restart, power the printer OFF and ON again.

8.4.2 How to remove a piece of media (roll media)

To remove a piece of roll media, please refer to the User's Guide "Handling roll media".
