Maintenance Guidelines

Allow only qualified and authorized personnel to maintain, repair, adjust, or
inspect the vehicle.
It is necessary to disconnect both of the main battery
cables before working on or disconnecting any electrical
component or wire.
•Before starting any repairs or
maintenance, immobilize the vehicle.
•Turn the key switch "OFF" and remove the
key.
•Set the park brake.
•Place the forward-reverse switch in the
center "OFF" position.
• Secure and block the chassis with jack stands
before working under a raised vehicle.
• Conduct vehicle performance checks in an
authorized area where safe surroundings and
clearances exist.
• Tighten all nuts and bolts in accordance
with the "Recommended Torque Values
Chart" found in Appendix B.
