Front Axle Removal and Installation
1. Make sure the key-switch is in the "OFF" position, then remove
2. Place the forward-reverse switch in the center "OFF" position.
3. Set the park brake.
4. Place blocks under the rear wheels to prevent vehicle

Always use a lifting strap, hoist, and jack stands, of
adequate capacity to lift and support the vehicle. Failure
to use lifting and support devices of rated load capacity
may result in serious bodily injury.

If the locknuts or bolts

13. Bleed the brakes (If equipped with front brakes), using the
appropriate procedure.
12. Lower the vehicle.

14. Remove the blocks from behind the wheels.

equipped, with front brakes).
10. Remove the bolts holding the leaf
springs to the frame.
NOTE: Support the axle with additional
stands.
11. Remove the axle with the leaf springs
from the vehicle.
12. Install in reverse order.

the axle is mounted to the frame.
