Driver IC overcurrent protection activated during running of the ASF motor.
Step

ASF motor does not stop. (Keeps rotating for 15 seconds or more)
Step
1 PF encoder disk stained

Cause
Reconnect the main drain tube.
Remove foreign materials.
Replace the PF encoder/PF sensor harness unit.
Replace the ink refill ASSY.
Replace the ASF switching gear.
Replace the paper feed motor.
Replace the carriage motor.
Replace the ASF drive ASSY.
Replace the maintenance unit.
Replace the engine unit.
Replace the main PCB ASSY.

Replace the PF encoder disk and clean the flushing
guide. (Refer to
