Accelerated mice
Smart 16 IP works with accelerated mice and is able to synchronize the host with
the client mouse pointer. However for better performance we recommend that you
disable mouse acceleration on all computers connected to the system. This is
explained below for, Windows XP, 2003 Server, 2000 Pro and 2000 Server.
For Windows XP and 2003 Server and Vista
Follows steps 1-3 in the Enhanced pointer precision paragraph above.
In the Motion section - see Figure 5- the pointer speed slider bar must be in
the center. Click OK.
For Windows 2000 Pro and 2000 Server
From the Control Panel select Mouse. Select the Motion tab. See Figure 6.
The Speed section slider bar must be in the center, and the Acceleration
section must be set to None. Click OK.
Disabling mouse acceleration for other Operating Systems
To disable mouse acceleration for other Operating Systems, see Appendix C on
page 86.
