Making Calls: External and Internal

Dialing can be accomplished in several ways, depending on what is most
convenient for you. The following dialing methods can be used:
• Immediately, without lifting the handset, begin dialing from the dial pad.
• Lift handset, after hearing dial tone begin dialing.
• Press SPKR key without lifting the handset, after hearing dial tone begin dialing.
• Press any idle (LED not lit) loop, loop originating only, or line, and after
hearing dial tone, begin dialing.
In certain cases special messages, not documented in this guide, will be shown
on the display; should these appear ask your system manager for an
explanation. When using the FlexSet 120L, you must use the handset or
headset when speaking.
Note: Many features, for example Camp-On and Break-In, can be used
when dialing either external or internal numbers.

Note: Loop and Loop originating can only be used with a programmed key.
