When FlexSet is programmed for SPKR On/Off key:
• When using headset (or handset is off cradle): When your FlexSet is equipped with a headset and the SPKR key is defined
with the On/Off option, you can answer and disconnect calls by pressing the SPKR key. When the key LED is lit, you are
connected. Pressing the lit key will disconnect the call. In order to switch between handset and handsfree operation you must use
the HANDSET/SPKR key.
• When handset is on cradle: If the telephone rings and the SPKR key flashes, you can speak handsfree by pressing the flashing
SPKR key. The key LED will now be steadily lit.
• Switchover from speakerphone to handset: When you are using the speakerphone and want to use the handset for private
conversation, lift handset. The SPKR key LED will remain lit.
• Switchover from handset to speakerphone: When you are using the handset and want to use the speakerphone, first press
the HANDSET/SPKR key, then when the LED is lit, place the handset on the cradle.
• Disconnecting calls: There are two ways to disconnect calls:
1) Pressing the lit SPKR key.
2) Returning handset or pressing the hookswitch when the HANDSET/SPKR key is off.

Note: These features can only be activated if you have programmed keys.
1. To program SPKR key, use access code #120.
2. To program HANDSET/SPKR, use access code #1323.
