Receiving Calls
There are several ways in which you can answer incoming calls:
- Lift the handset
- Press the flashing SPKR button
- Press a flashing key (DSS, Loop, Line, etc.)
Notes: 1) When using the FlexSet 120L, you must use the handset or
headset when speaking.
2) On FlexSet 280D and 280D-Z, calls via ISDN trunks display the
caller's number or name unless restricted. An 'I' before the Caller
I.D. indicates an international call via ISDN.
3) #REST.: Caller ID is restricted by the caller.
4) #UNAVAIL.: Caller ID is not supported on this route.
5) NORMAL CLEAR: The caller has hung up.
6) CAUSE #: ISDN protocols define error messages, with codes
indicating the cause of failed connections. The meanings and
actions to take are listed in Appendix D - ISDN CAUSE#.
Most messages are for system managers and technicians and will
not be seen during normal operation.
